Panama, December 2, 2017. Greenwood Energy Latinoamérica, recently completed a pilot solar panel installation on the roof of the Super 99 supermarket in Las Mañanitas, a district of Panama City. The retail store is part of the biggest supermarket chain in Panama.
The 941 Kwp project is part of a larger agreement with Super 99 to install solar panels on up to 21 store rooftops and carports (16 MWp in total) across the Panamas various provinces. Discussions are underway to extend the agreement to cover up to 30 buildings following assessment of the pilot installation.
